Is that a masters PR in the 5k for Simon G? If so, how do you think that translates into for Mt. Washington? For that matter, how important is being sub 15 in the 5k when it comes to racing Mt Washington?
Does anyone want to go out to Carlsbad next year?
I have always wanted to race that course. It is advertised as the Worlds fastest 5k, next to the Hollis 5k, of course.

I'm most impressed w/ that picture of Guiterez with HAIR! All that other stuff about times and Carlsbad, etc. goes right over my head....

Simon had to go all the way to Stockholm for a PR, that sucks.

Simon graduated from U of A the same year I was living in AZ. Never met him. Too bad. Maybe at MT Washington.

If not, you can meet Alvin and Theodore.

It has gotta be his 40+ PR. He has a lot of range. XC to roads, to mountains the guy is quick. I don't think a good 5k means anything for Mt W, but it means he is in better shape than the last couple of years.

I'll go to Carlsbad next year. Seriously.
