Although I’m averaging about 12.5 miles per day this year I rarely go over 7 miles in a run. It seems like an hour is pretty much as far as I really want to go at any one time. I get through most of my days doing “triples” (three runs a day). Typical days are 6 miles at 430 am, 3 miles at 1130 am, and 3-4 miles at 315pm. I’ve tagged along with Dave La a few times this year as he is ramping up his long runs training for Boston.
