I haven't run the Carson Memorial race since 2006 due to conflicts with Mountain series races. This year with the fourth of July falling mid-week there will be no conflict so I'm off to Chelmsford tomorrow! I've had some pretty decent runs at this race including five wins. My top performance is probably the 9:27 I ran in 1989 when the course was 2.1 miles. A couple of weeks later I ran 8:56 for 2 miles on the track so I think the 2.1 distance was pretty accurate. I'm hoping to break 10:30 tomorrow but anything under 10:40 will be "acceptable".
