I wanted to do something a little quicker today in anticipation of hitting the track for a 5,000 this weekend, so I headed to the rail trail for a short workout.  I was aiming for a mile in 5k pace so my goal was around 5:40. 

I warmed up with 1.5 miles in 12:10  and went right into the workout.  I was pleased to hit 5:39.3 although it felt tough, I'm hoping in a race I'll feel a bit better.  A 1.5 warm-down in 11:42 and my short 4m run was done.
