35 Years ago today

Senior year Billerica Memorial High School final indoor track season, 35 years ago today (12/30/81) I set the then Meet & Fieldhouse record at the Methuen Invitational with a 4:28.2 which topped the field of 15 runners.  That was my indoor track personal best (I’d run a couple of 4:28-flats outdoors later during my senior year).  Later in the meet I ran a leg of the mile relay with a lackluster 58 as our team ran 3:53.1 for 6^th place.
