Last year I completed my goal of running in every city and town in Vermont. This year Vermont added a new city as Essex Junction separated from Essex. So, with an open weekend I met up with Eric & Mur-dog to get that completed.
First we did an interesting 3m run in the quarries of Graniteville (a section of Barre).
The next morning we ran on some roads and bike paths to get both Essex and Essex Jct. After that we headed over to Saxon Hill to visit a former fire tower site (only footings remained).
I closed the day with a nice relaxing 4 mile run.
