Workout!

 

Today I did my first workout since the calf injury back in July.  Decided it was safest to do it on the treadmill here at work since I could carefully control the speed and monitor how it felt.  Plan was to do 2m warm-up then 2x440 with 440 rest and 2x880 with 880 rest.  I wanted to be under 1:30 pace (and started each one at 10mph and kept stepping down). Great fun.  So far no issues and it went better than expected.  I hope to keep doing this as long as things hold together.  Aiming for the USA 55-59 record in the 4x800 sometime this winter!
