I took my parents out to try to find a couple of Letterboxes that were relatively close to Zephyrhills. Both of these were located in Polk City and were also on the Van Fleet Rail Trail. I'd combine the visit with my afternoon run. We had a little trouble finding the first one (maybe we were distracted by the group of Geocachers who were also looking for a nearby cache). Both were reasonably short hikes and we were successful. Mom stamped us in with the new stamp I got the day before. I had a nice run on the trail which had a little shade (helped with the heat and the wind) and we even checked out the Green Swamp Fire Tower on the way back.
