The Merrimack River Trail race originally slated for April
11th has been postponed until May 9th. Over the 24 year
history of the race this is the third time the race has been delayed. In 2001
it was moved to mid-April due to flooding (and it was flooded in April as well)
and in 2003 it was moved to May due to deep snow.
Trivia question: Merrimack River Race director Steve
Peterson and I are the only two people in the history of the race to have done
this. Free entry to the first person who gets the correct answer.
