I may not have done a traditional build up for a marathon (and I won’t taper) but at least I’m coming to the starting line reasonably healthy.
Last year I ran 2:58 at Manchester with 16 runs over 10 miles (and only 33 over 8 miles) over the previous 10 months. This year I’ve only done 12 runs over 10 miles (and only 23 over 8 miles). I’m still hopeful that with an easier course (and hopefully better weather) I can go under 2:58.
Run's over 10 miles this year
