I ran three races over 24 hours on this weekend 5 years
ago. Unlike this year (no snowshoe for me) I was focused on snowshoe
racing and put in a little over 10 miles of racing over the weekend.
I started with the "one and done" Moore State park race in Paxton MA. The 3.5 mile race was a multi-loop with a mix of trail and open field. It was pretty nice! Steve Dowsett took off at the start and never looked back.
37 finishers

That night I took on the Kingman farm 3.2 mile snowshoe race. I felt beat but had a good battle with Ryan Welts. He put 17 seconds on me over the last 1/2 mile. This was probably the last time I beat either of the Principe's (dad or son).

The next morning it was off to Merrimack NH. Traitor Jim Johnson (Unicorns) picked up his second win. Ryan Welts sat on me waiting to pounce but this time I had a little extra gear.
