Wachusett titles

This was the fourth year that the Wachusett Mountain race gave entrants two race opportunities.  Competitors could choose to just run the “uphill only” race or continue on and run the 10k “up & down” race.  So there were opportunities to pick up multiple overall or category wins.

Lisa Doucett picked up 2 wins in the 60+ age group and now own the most number of category wins with 9 titles spanning the 40, 50, and 60 year age group.  Tim Van Orden picked up a win in the uphill 50+ age group to move into a tie with me as the only people to have an open, 40, and 50 win.  No other runners have wins in three categories.
