With 2 races to go the competition is
heated for the top spots in the Age Graded Masters. It is based on your
best five performances and right now there are four of us within 9
points. Jim Angell is running really well right now and will undoubtedly
knock out his Gilmanton score. Scott Clark is also running well and also
should top his Gilmanton score at the Luiti 5m next month. I’ve already
eliminated my Gilmanton so the next one to go for me would be the Canterbury
XC, if I run a typical race I should gain another 3 or 4 points. Jim
Johnson claims he has retired but could still do well if he returns for the
final 2 races. Darin Brown is coming off of an achilles injury but need
just one more race to move among the leaders. Ernie Brake needs to run
both of the races and if he does he could challenge for the lead.
