CARS individual standings - Age graded masters

CARS age graded masters standings:

I’m currently in first place and hoping to snag the top spot again this year.  The competition is VERY tight with five of us within striking distance.  The age grading has been pretty consistent with the variations usually due to the difficulty of the course (Gilmanton, Canterbury XC) or the weather (Luti).  I’ve heard that the final race (this weekend in Canterbury) is also a tough course.  Since the scoring is best five performances I’d need to get a score better than 79.81 to improve my “Best Five”.  If I don’t improve - Jim Angell would need to score an 82.83 (or about 18:20 for 5k), Mike Barry would need 82.76 (19:33), Scott Clark would need 86.98 (17:21) and Ernie Brake would need 87.79 (17:55) to catch me.  None of those scores are impossible based on scores the guys have gotten so far this year, but they could be out of reach on this particular course.
