June was another interesting month. I got in 310 miles for the month despite taking some low mileage for a couple of weeks after getting a cortisone shot in my ankle. The ankle is still bothering me but not as bad as it was. Keep the miles under control should help. It was great to get back to workouts and even get in a race during the month. I’m hoping for more of that (workouts and races) in the coming months.
Total for the first ½ of the year = 1,796 miles. Slowly closing in on 10 miles per day average. Since I started off the year with weeks of 15, 25, 35, and 44 it isn’t surprising that I’m still under the 10 mpd. I haven’t missed a day since January 6 and hope to keep that streak going.
