Mt Monadnock (in Vermont!)

I reached the final fire tower in Vermont last weekend.  Eric and Murdock joined me for the 5m (round trip) run up and down Mt Monadnock.  We had a little trouble at the start following the trail (through a quarry) but after that it was easy to follow, but a tough steady climb.  Up in 44 minutes (plus 6 minutes added at the start) then on top for 10 minutes and a 47 minute run back down.  It was a bit slippery in spots with a lot of water (foggy and 60's).  Great views from the top of the tower.
