Started vacation week with a reverse triathlon (run, bike, swim).
Kicked the day off with a 10 mile run before sunrise on the Freeman rail trail. Petey joined in for the last 7 miles (he on a bike) which was great for catching up on recent events.
Next up I hopped on my bike for an interesting ride on the Freeman, Reformatory, and Narrow Gauge rail trails. That was a great mix of paved path, a little road, dirt path, and some more road, with a finish back on the Freeman (paved) path. I felt pretty good but it was getting hot and I got a little tired on the rolling hills on Route 4 in Billerica and Chelmsford.
I finished off the early morning with a dunk in Heart Pond and a swim (1 minute!). Great start to the week!
