Interesting
week with snow to start and 75 degrees (in Florida) at the end. Busy long
weekend with a trip to Orlando to watch the Olympic Trials marathon. I
snuck in a visit to my parents in Zephyrhills with a stop in Polk
City/Auburndale for a run on the TECO Auburndale rail trail and a zip over to
the Green Swamp Fire Tower. On Saturday I met up with Byrne Decker, Andy
Spaulding and Dan Crooker for a preview of the Olympic Trials Marathon course
(8 mile loop) and then hung out watching the action. I closed out the weekend
with a 2 hour ride in 32 degree temps but with a bright sun that made it quite
enjoyable.
