So here is my new "ride". I spent a good chunk of change for something I hope I don't use very much (I only really use alternative exercise when I'm injured).

Hey Dave: ahh, I have two of those elliptigos (down here in northern CT)...I find them to be much better cross training for running than cycling (which I've done for decades) - standing up under your own body weight instead of cruched over & you can get a serious workout; especially in the hills. Enjoy and best wishes on the recovery...
