10th New Bedford for me today

New Bedford ½ marathon

I’m not a big fan of this race.  I don’t like “city” racing and the headaches that brings and I definitely don’t like races with mega-fields.  The race is part of the Grand Prix and as such a CMS team race, so I’m planning on heading to the Whaling City for the tenth time.  I’ve had some good luck here in past races, but this year doesn’t bode well.  I’ve race 12 times so far this year but 10 of those were snowshoe races.  I’m not sure if I’ve got my “road legs” yet and I’m nursing a sprained ankle from last weekend.  Time will tell.

How the top 2 teams from 1991!  GLRR averaged 1:08 per person for 5 guys and still lost to CMS (who averaged 1:07 per man).
