Tower Quest – Part 2
Shortly after sunrise I headed from Teneriffe to tower #54
which was the Abenaki tower in Tuftonboro. The sign for the tower was right on
route 109 and the parking area was empty when I got there. I ran up to the
tower (a very cool wooden one), climbed it, took a few pictures and was back at
the car in a total of ½ mile. I added on another 1.5 miles including a stealthy
ascent of Copps Hill (Wawbeek).
