The Grand Prix (1985-2014) has had a 5 mile or 8 km as
part of the series every year from 1987 to present with the lone exception being
2010. During that time Rojack’s (Attleboro) hosted the championship (1997-2003
& 1994) eight times. Ollie has hosted the championship six times
(2004-2009). Riverside (Agawam) hosted three times, Carver (MA) also hosted
three times, and a mix of other races completed the 26 times it has been
contested.
CMS has won the team championship twelve times. The BAA
has also won twelve times, having won every year since 2000 except for 2011 (CMS
won). The BRC and GLRR have both won once. CMS holds the team record with an
impressive 1:59:54 from 1992 for an average of 23:59 (4:48 pace) per scoring
team member.
