40 Years ago (March 1982) – I took the opportunity to road race between my final indoor track season and my final outdoor track season at Billerica Memorial High School. I took it out hard at the Hynes Tavern (Irish Feet are running) 5 mile in Lowell, MA. I ended up taking 4th place overall with a 24:51 with splits of 4:48, 4:54, 5:10, 5:06, and 4:53.
