I'm against the use of chip times for anything other than your own amusement. So far it has had a consistent impact on runners in the Grand Prix (where chip time is used to decide place!).

Until this year, I had no opinion on it... now I'm All for it. Only because it positively impacted my Redhook this year ;). If it negatively impacted it, I'd be against it.
