I
picked up my first win of the year at Dartmouth Relays last weekend. My
streak of winning at least one race in a year has now reach 40 consecutive
years (1979-2018). This was certainly an unusual win as it came in a 400
meter race! That is definitely not my best distance (laugh). I’ve
got 388 wins out of 1407 races. It is always nice to get a win early in
the year, now there isn’t as much pressure to keep the streak going.
