Sunrise at Mt Wachusett

I love the idea of sunrise runs and hadn't been up Wachusett at sunrise in 15 years.  Dave La and Jeff Gould joined me for the fun.  I was up at 2:45am in order to get there for the earliest sunrise of the year.  We gathered a little after 4am and saw the CZ-4C R/B satellite zip by before our start.  A bit chilly for the 30 minute run to the summit but nice chatting and enjoying the brightening sky.  There were about a dozen hikers on top waiting for the sunrise.  We took some shots before continuing the run down the "up road" and onto Balance rock road.  Great way to get in an enjoyable 6 mile run.
