I got a very rare win at a New England championship with a first place in the 50+ at the NE 10 mile championships last weekend.

Although I’ve snuck in a few age group wins in Mountain and Trail championships this was my first AG win in a road championship.  I was definitely helped by it not being part of the Grand Prix which kept many teams away (that and the pandemic).

The closest I came as a master (40+) was  a 6th place AG finish in 2013:
02/24/13              Amherst MA      10m       57:50     47th       DH Jones             Road      6th

The closest I got as a senior (50+) was a 3rd place AG finish in 2016:
08/27/16              Auburn NH          10m       1:02:00  77th       USATF NE 10m   Road      3rd

I did a lot better as an open runner scoring 14 overall wins between 1987-2002.
