The 10 mile last weekend was my 2nd fastest as a senior (50+ age group). When using the age grading tables it comes out as my best performance since turning 50. It doesn’t quite match what I ran when I was an open runner but isn’t too far out of the range. I took my best 10 mile times from every year and age graded those as well (I’ve run 70 ten mile races but many of those are trail or mountain – The Rivah and Pack Monadnock - which are notoriously slower than roads). Interestingly my range of age graded percent as a younger runner was 77 – 88 and as a senior it has been 77 – 85.
