40 years ago: I only raced once during March of my Freshman year at U-Lowell. We went to Gainesville Florida for the Florida Relays (and spring break). I ended up winning the 5,000 meters in a U-Lowell Freshman record of 14:27. Outkicked Mark Plaatjes for the win.
