Week Ending 06-18-23
I began a VERY
tentative return to running under the watchful eyes of my PT at Pinnacle
rehab. On Friday I had PT, and then got on the treadmill for a 10 minute
brisk walk into 10 minutes of running and then finished with 10 minutes of
walking. No issues, so on Sunday I walked ½ mile, then ran 1.5 miles and
walked .6 for 30 minutes. I was sore from the transition to running from
biking (very different muscles). It was good to get outside and run, even
if it was only for less than 15 minutes.
Hoping to go
every-other day and slowly increase. Fingers crossed.
