Looking back - January 1994 (30 years ago)
I only raced
once during this month before missing most of the month with a back
injury. I ended up missing 5 weeks. The one race I did
was the Freezer Five a CMS classic. There was some snow on
the ground but I still managed a sub 25 running 24:41 to beat teammate Larry
Sayers by 49 seconds. Looking at the top ten, there certainly were a
lot of very fast masters’ runners back then with three of them running under
27:30.
