Dome workout

Dome Workout #7

Dan and I hit the track again on Tuesday night.  Only a few workouts left!  We did our normal 3 mile warm-up and another mile with strides.  I felt tight and a bit tired.  We alternated leading on the 8 800’s that we did.  We were pretty consistent, after a slightly slow first 800.  Dan noted that he also felt “off”.  Maybe we both were still feeling the race from Saturday?  Even with not feeling great our workout was faster than the same one we did in Week #4.  The 800’s were a total of 12 seconds faster and our rest was 45 seconds faster.

Now off to the USATF New England Indoor track championships at Harvard.  I haven’t raced at Harvard since 01-25-87 when I ran an 8:52.01 for 2 miles.
