The best runners in New England

I’ve listed below the toughest of the tough.  These runners not only raced all seven of the USATF New England Grand Prix races, they were good enough to score in all seven races.  It takes a combination of dedication, sacrifice, and luck to be able to race from 5km to the marathon between February and October.  It takes another level of ability to finish in the top 10 in your age group in each of those New England Championship races.

Here are the toughest and most talented runners in New England:
Wayne Levy, Robert Cipriano, Dennis Donoghue, Rich Stockdale, Larry Morris, Christin Doneski, Laurie Gaudreau, Sarah Prescott, Amanda Maffei, Cathy Merra, Elizabeth Cooney, Lisa Doucett, Susan Stirrat,
Annajean McMahon, Leanne Ward, Julie Weisman, Karen McGahie

Julie Weisman and Karen McGahie, not only scored in all seven races but they did it across two different age categories.  That is tough!

Here is the breakdown of their scoring in the Grand Prix.  Note: Highlighted “Category” means that person also was the top finisher in the GP in that Category.

Congratulations to everyone who put it on the line at each of the races!

If there was a 35-39 division, I would have placed in all of them as well!

"sub-master"...you should get USATF to recognize that category!
