Workouts


It has been a while since I’ve been healthy enough to attempt any kind of workout.  Over the last couple of weeks my hamstring has improved and I’ve done a few tests on the treadmill at Pinnacle PT.  The good thing about the treadmill is the consistency and you can always bag the run at any time should trouble arise.  All of my workouts have been “stepdown” types where I go faster as the workout progresses.  That seems to be working well as it takes me longer and longer to loosen up.  I’m hoping to try a hard 5k this Friday after the workout on Monday seemed to go well and I was only a bit more sore than usual on Tuesday.  If all goes well on Friday I may even attempt a race next weekend.  It has been way too long!
