Dan and I hit the Milford track for the third in a series of 10 workouts. This one looked pretty tough, especially coming off a "big" weekend (race and long run) and my hacking cough.
We did 3 miles warm-up, then 1 mile with strides before hitting the workout. 4 times 1 mile with about 300m of rest (the weird track size made the rest very short). We exchanged the lead every 1/2 mile to mix things up and had a solid run of: 5:31, 5:28, 5:28, and 5:24. Our rest was about 1:30. The warm-down was another 2 miles for a total of just under 11 miles in the Dome.
